Bio

Dichteres

Emily Marie Vierthaler (Dec. 1997) is a poet from Anchorage, Alaska (USA) who is active in artistic collaborations around the Netherlands. Thanks to a host of talented collaborators, her works have taken multidisciplinary forms: choir pieces, films, street calligraphy, expanded translations, birth cards, shows, and publications.

Written works have found homes in publications such as in Sunday Mornings at the River, Twenty-two Twenty-eight, curated by crows, Dichteren Leesten, Granate, and Pathways Magazine.

Emily has performed at venues and on stages such as Festival Hongerige Wolf, Concordia: Theater on Tour, Great Granate Gala, Living Village Festival, and Landjuweel, and at private events around commissioned themes. In 2023, she served on the jury for the second Netherlands Poetry Film Festival.
